Glam Squad Take Time To Make Cancer Patient’s Day A Little Bit Brighter

Cosmetology students are volunteering and visiting each week at the Methodist Hospital for something much more than just a beauty appointment.
“If you can bring joy to one person’s life, even for a moment, to forget about what they’re going through and the journey ahead of them,” clinical cosmetologist Lori Fuchs
Her program provides free manicures for the patients at the hospital. To the naked eye this may seem as simply an adornment on some wounds, but to the patients at the hospital, anything that can relieve them of their daily troubles is a god-sent gift.
