1. Saline solution:
Mix 1 teaspoon of salt in about 1/2 a cup of water and dissolve it. Soak cotton ball in the mixture and take some drops of it and place it in your ear canal. Make this procedure with both ears. Use a toilet paper to soak the liquid as it drains out.
2. Paraffin oil:
Heat 2-3 tablespoon of paraffin oil over a candle flam. Take 5 drops from the warm liquid and apply in directly in your ear canal. Leave them for couple of minutes and then rinse your ears thoroughly with clean water.
Paraffin oil is one of the most effective remedies for earwax and it is widely used in pharmaceutical industry for this purpose.
3. Hydrogen peroxide:
Take equal parts of water and hydrogen peroxide and mix them. When you get homogenous mixture put couple of drops in your ear. Then shake your head in order to allow this mixture to get deep into your ear canal. Stay in that position for 3-4 minutes and repeat the same method with the other ear. Ensure that you mix an equal part of water and hydrogen peroxide.
4. Glycerin:
Buy glycerin from pharmaceutical store and apply 4-5 drops of it in each ear. Place your head horizontally for glycerin to go into your ear canal. Repeat this process 3 times a day.
5. Alcohol and vinegar mixture:
Mix both ingredients in a bowl and soak cotton ball with that mixture. Put the cotton ball in your ear and clean it. Drain any excess out of it. If there is huge amount of earwax, repeat the procedure, but be careful not to hurt your ear, nerves or tissue.
6. Olive oil:
Add 2 drops of olive oil every night before bed. Make sure you put drops only in one ear and sleep on your other side. Next night repeat the method with the other ear.
