George & Barbara Bush Bring Granddaughter To Tears When They Reveal Wartime Love Letters.

For a very long time, written word was the only form of long distance communication. Museums hold letters written by famous, and infamous, individuals for a reason… written word is powerful, especially when penned by the right hand. We’ve seen letters find their way home after decades and others fall from the sky, but this story will really make you believe in a love that lasts. In a special interview with their granddaughter Jenna, former president George Bush and his wife Barbara reveal incredible letters from the early days of their courtship.

“I love you, precious, with all my heart, and to know that you love me means my life,” wrote George Bush Sr. in one of the hundreds of love letters he’s written to his beloved ‘Barb’. They are precious letters filled with romance, longing, and promise that give us a glimpse into an old fashioned courtship that would melt any heart.
